Welcome, and thank you for choosing Obsidian Hydra Spa for your skincare and esthetic services. To ensure a relaxing, safe, and professional experience for all guests, the following policies are in place and apply to every visit. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Out of respect for your time and the time of other clients, please review the following:

Arrival Policy

•Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in and consultation.

•Late arrivals may result in a shortened service to avoid impacting the next client's appointment. The full service fee will still apply.

•If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a late/cancellation fee may be charged.

Phone & Devices Policy

This studio is a place of rest and relaxation for you and for other guests.


•Please silence or power off your phone upon entering the studio.

•Phone calls should not be taken during your service. If you are expecting an urgent call, please notify your esthetician in advance.

•The use of speakerphone, video calls, or audio playback without headphones is not permitted in the treatment area.

•Photography or video recording inside the treatment room is prohibited without prior written consent from your esthetician.

General Conduct

•Guests are welcome to bring one adult companion if necessary; however, children are not permitted in the treatment room during services for safety and sanitation reasons.

•Please do not bring outside food or beverages into the treatment area.

•Fragrance sensitivity is common in spa environments. We ask that you limit the use of strong perfumes or colognes before your visit.

Hygiene

•In the interest of sanitation and the health of all clients, guests are expected to arrive with reasonably clean skin in the area to be treated.

•If you are feeling unwell including symptoms of illness such as fever, active cold sores, or contagious skin conditions, please reschedule your appointment.

Service May Be Refused or Stopped If

•A client exhibits disrespectful, threatening, harassing, or inappropriate behavior toward the esthetician or other guests.

•A client makes sexual comments, advances, or engages in any conduct of a sexual nature. This will result in immediate termination of the service, and the full session fee will be charged.

•A client arrives intoxicated or under the influence of substances.

•A client's health or skin condition is contraindicated for the scheduled service and poses a risk of harm.

•A client refuses to comply with the OHS’s policies or the esthetician's professional guidance.

Termination of Client Relationships

OHS reserves the right to permanently discontinue services to any client who:

•Exhibits repeated disrespectful or inappropriate behavior across multiple visits.

•Engages in any form of verbal or physical harassment toward the esthetician.

•Repeatedly violates studio policies after written or verbal notice.

•Commits fraud, chargebacks, or non-payment without valid cause.

Termination of the client relationship will be communicated directly and professionally. No refunds will be issued for services already rendered at the time of termination.

Payments

We accept Cash App, Venmo, all major credit cards, and BNPL (buy now, pay later) via Affirm.

Refund Policy

All services are non-refundable. However, your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not fully satisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours so we may offer an adjustment or spa credit.


Deposits and prepaid services are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future appointment with proper notice.


Memberships and Packages are non-refundable. Unused Membership credits rollover for 60 days after purchase and may be transferred to family or friends. Packages are valid for one calendar year of purchase.


Retail products may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase. Items must be gently used and returned in-store or shipped back at the customer’s expense. For your convenience, we offer a 10% bonus on all store credit returns. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will gladly cover the cost of replacement.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

To provide the best experience for all guests and honor our time, we kindly ask that you review our cancellation policy: We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the service cost. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost. A deposit may be required to book and will go toward your service total. Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or rescheduling, and full service fees may still apply. This policy allows us to continue providing a peaceful, high-quality experience for every guest.

Wellness Class & Event Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel your class or event reservation, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made within this window will receive a class credit valid toward any future Obsidian Hydra Spa wellness class or event. Credits do not expire and may be applied at booking.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class are not eligible for a credit or refund. We recommend canceling as early as possible so your spot can be offered to another guest on the waitlist.

No Shows

Guests who do not attend their scheduled class without prior notice will forfeit the full amount paid. No credit or refund will be issued for no-shows. We value every seat in our space and reserve them intentionally for each guest.

How to Cancel

To cancel or reschedule, please manage your booking through your Vagaro account. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to be honored.

Class Credits

Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may only be applied to wellness classes and events — not toward spa services or packages. Credits are stored in your client profile and applied automatically at checkout.

Exemptions

We understand that emergencies happen. Medical situations or extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Obsidian Hydra Spa. Please reach out to us directly — we are always willing to have a conversation

Our memberships are designed to support consistent care, visible results, and moments of intentional rest. Each tier offers preferred access to services, exclusive savings, and a deeper connection to your self-care ritual.

Membership credits are issued monthly and may be applied toward services.


To encourage consistency and optimal results:

●Credits are valid for 60 days from the date issued

●Unused credits may roll over for one additional month only

●Credits do not accumulate beyond 60 days

●Credits can be shared with family or friends added to the client profile

Booking & Scheduling

Members receive early access to newly released appointments prior to public booking.

Select tiers include access to reserved appointment times, ensuring greater flexibility and convenience when scheduling your visits.

Membership Commitment

Memberships are on a month-to-month basis and may be canceled with 14 days notice prior to your next billing cycle.

Additional Guidelines

●Membership benefits are non-transferable other than monthly service credits

●Discounts apply to individual services and retail only

●Membership pricing cannot be combined with packages, promotions, or special offers

●Missed appointments or late cancellations will result in forfeiture of that month’s service credit
